As a Fund we are committed to "Growing Our Own", National Employee Appreciation Day provides a fantastic opportunity for us to celebrate our teams' accomplishments and successes!
Our teams are committed to our vision of delivering an outstanding service to our c180 scheme employers and c85,000 members.
Last year we were thrilled to celebrate so many of our teams achievements including Professional Qualifications, Industry Awards, and our very first Wiltshire Pension Fund Staff Awards, celebrating individuals who have exceeded expectations, served as role models for their teams, and consistently demonstrated our Fund values day to day.
Wiltshire Pension Fund Awards
Nat Harrison, Pension Manager of the Year
Nat has really impressed everyone by stepping up into a leadership role and showing the drive and dedication to set their team on the path to success. Their manager comments that they have really taken ownership for their area and delivered a genuine contribution to WPF.
Thobeka Kellett, Newcomer of the year
Since joining the fund Thobi has thrown themselves into whatever task they have been given. They have shown great competence and skill, producing high quality reports and bringing positive new ideas and perspectives to the team. They have made a real impact on the output of the team they have joined, and I am sure they will continue to be a real asset to Wiltshire Pension Fund.
Sue Taylor, Unsung Hero of the year
Sue's skills and contribution far surpass the expectations for someone so new to the Fund. Their hard work and dedication has delivered real savings and benefits to service delivery and this award gives them the recognition they really deserve.
Sue Tompkins, Inclusivity Champion
Sue has embraced inclusivity within their team. Going out of their way to be accessible to provide support for new joiners, despite pressures on their own time. This has ensured these new staff members have felt welcomed and supported and able to thrive in their new workplace.
Katy Hutchinson, Innovator of the year
Katy has shown a genuine enthusiasm for demonstrating our value of "Data-Driven Decisions", and has used their skills to empower others to take ownership and deliver improvements. They have also demonstrated a keen interest in their own professional development.
Mollie Huntley, Rising Star of the year
Mollie has a manner and way of working that inspires enthusiasm from everyone around them. They have taken on new challenges recently and pushed themselves out of their comfort zone to make it a real success. The judges see a bright future at WPF for this person!
At Wiltshire Pension Fund, we are committed to ensuring that we have a resilient, skilled and motivated workforce which we achieve by supporting and developing our staff.
In our 2024 Staff Survey90% agreed they received the support and training they needed and 92% feel part of a team.
In line with our value of High Performing Teams, our staff aspire to be role models and leaders, through their commitment to develop knowledge and training, we are also thrilled to celebrate so many of our staff achieving certified industry qualifications.
