As a Fund everyone's role either directly contributes to the vision, or creates the foundations and environment which make it possible. In celebration of our wonderful staff, we have asked our managers to nominate individuals who are role models for their colleagues, consistently embodying our values in their day to day responsibilities and truly shining as superstars in their roles.
Celebrating Jelena Peet, Fund Accountant
Since joining the Fund a year ago Jelena has made herself an invaluable member of the team. She has a relentlessly positive attitude, even when faced with significant challenges and is a role model for others. Jelena has a great focus on accuracy and ensuring the best outcomes for the fund, always pushing to ensure work is completed to the highest standard. She has embraced the vision goals and values of the fund and embodies these in everything she does.
Celebrating Phil Magson, Employer Support Senior Officer
I would like to nominate Phil. Since he has returned from his secondment in SIT, Phil is making great headway! His actions speak louder than words! He guides Laura and Becky, always happy to help anyone. Phil is aspiring an role model, committed to developing skills and knowledge within the ES team, embedding our values into his day-to-day work. He is really demonstrating the 'High Performing Teams' value and being a real superstar!
Celebrating Alice Beaven, Member Services Officer
Alice has embraced a huge project whilst coming over to the Service Improvement Team. The letter review project is one of the biggest administration improvements the Fund has seen in a long time. It is a true spotlight of our 'Clear Communications' for our members. Alice has embodied our Smarter working behaviours whilst remaining a positive personality in the team throughout.
Celebrating Trish Hillier, Member Services Officer
There have been a few occasions recently when members or internal staff have turned up to County Hall unannounced expecting to speak with a Pensions Officer. On each occasion Trish has been the first person to volunteer to go down and help with the individual's query. This really shows how Trish takes 'Working Together as One Fund' seriously as one of our key values. Thank you Trish!
Celebrating Geoff Stephens and June Suffian-Warr, Payroll Team
New to the Fund in 2023, Geoff and June have successfully implemented our internal payroll system, but, as important, created some great working relationships with other areas of the Fund ensuring good collaboration while these changes take place. It is the perfect foundation ahead of us taking the legacy payroll in-house this year.
